DBS Checking Service

The NCA DBS Checking Service allows employers to submit electronic applications and receive the results electronically. NCA offer Care Providers, a self administered system which can be accessed 24 hours a day. Users will have their own secure control panel from where they can add new candidates, monitor the progress of their applications an more importantly see the results as they come in and print them out if they are clear.

Quick and Simple

Members have been using the system for years and once they have gone through the first one can’t believe how easy it is for a busy Care Provider. We are confident that this system offers employer’s one of the fastest and simplest Criminal Record checking services available. Once you press ‘Approve’ your application is invoiced and sent to the DBS for processing. Enhanced DBS checks are usually completed within 7 days, but many come back in 4 hours. The exception is where the Police need to do additional check on the applicant. There are no maximum or minimum number of checks required and no registration fees.

Set Up

If you would like to be setup to use the system, you need to complete the simple form and and you will be set up in a few minutes. (please note we only accept applications from companies registered with CQC)

How to Pay

Payment for the DBS is by Direct Debit only. If you are not set up for Direct Debit with the Association its very easy to set up. Download this Direct Debit Mandate and return it by post to the Association office (Our bank will reject an electronic copy)
