From residential and community care to nursing, leadership, wellbeing and innovation, the awards recognise those whose compassion, commitment and skill make a meaningful difference every day. This year’s Proud to Care Awards attracted an impressive 703 nominations across 12 categories. Following an anonymised judging process, 93 nominations were shortlisted and 36 finalists selected by a panel representing local authorities, health partners, Skills for Care, award sponsors, previous finalists and people with lived experience. Celebrating our local care community
NCA is proud to promote Nottinghamshire County Council’s Proud to Care Awards, celebrating care professionals across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The awards recognise contributions across care homes, home care, day services, supported living and the teams working behind the scenes.
It is an opportunity to thank the people whose everyday work helps others live with dignity, independence and connection, and to share their achievements with colleagues and the wider care community.

Our Dementia Choir will be performing at the awards. The choir also independently judged this year’s Excellence in Dementia Care category.
